Supporting The Meno Central Project With Strategic Content and Communications for Women’s Health

Background

Empowering women through accessible, evidence-based information.

When Resonate Marketing approached us about the Meno Central project, they had a clear mission: to create a platform that supports women aged 35+ as they navigate the often-overlooked journey of perimenopause and menopause. They wanted a space where women could find evidence-based, culturally relevant, and compassionate guidance alongside access to a comprehensive directory of healthcare and wellness professionals, from gynaecologists and psychologists to naturopaths, career coaches, and relationship counsellors.

We were absolutely on board.

The Brief

Our initial brief was to create a communications plan and a series of blog posts to support the launch of the platform. But as the project gained momentum, so did our role.

We soon agreed to expand our work to include the creation of in-depth educational website content. To support intuitive navigation and user flow, we developed a set of wireframes, which are visual blueprints that outline the layout, structure, and key elements of a web page. This helped to improve the structure of the initial website, re-aligning it with the client’s vision. We then partnered with one of our trusted web agency partners, Envy Web & Design, who implemented the site re-design. Our team then reviewed and refined existing content across the website, bringing everything into a cohesive, clear, and supportive voice that reflects Meno Central’s values.

Today, we continue to support the platform through our Kākāpō monthly content package, which includes SEO (search engine optimised) blog content and image sourcing.

Our Solution

1. Educational content and wireframes
We developed a series of educational content pages with six key themes related to perimenopause and menopause. Each page featured clear, empathetic content and was complemented by FAQs designed to reflect common Google search queries and support SEO. This approach enhances SEO discoverability while presenting information in a user-friendly, familiar format.

Topics included understanding menopause and perimenopause, premature menopause, health impacts, treatment options in Aotearoa New Zealand, menopause in the workplace, sexuality, and cultural and community support across Aotearoa New Zealand. We also collaborated on the site’s design, developing wireframes to ensure key messages were clearly communicated throughout.

2. Editing and refining

We worked closely with the client and worked above and beyond the initial brief. Resonate Marketing recognised the need for additional expertise to bring the vision to life, and trusted our recommendations. To bring the website to life, we worked alongside Envy, a trusted website development agency we knew could deliver. We focused on refining key pages, enhancing clarity, maintaining a consistent tone, and aligning the content with the audience’s needs. Through this collaborative effort, the final website became a true reflection of the client’s vision.

3. Ongoing blog content

We continue to support Meno Central with monthly SEO-optimised blog posts, helping to drive traffic, increase dwell time, and support the site’s positioning as a go-to resource for women navigating menopause.

Their writers are amazing; they did an excellent job transforming complex topics around menopause and women’s health into well-written blogs that maintained the depth of information we needed while still being clear and engaging.

Working with Emma was a pleasure; the process was smooth and collaborative. She was thoughtful, communicative, and really took the time to understand my needs and those of our audience.
